Summary:
The subject of this paper is settlement of block effects influence in the growth curve model on a preciseness of polynomial functions estimation. The course of the studied feature in time is described by this functions. Block effects, that were significant in the preliminary analysis of variance are taken into consideration here. The real-life data were used for this aim.
The curves that were estimated by three growth curve method are considered. There were Potthoff-Roy’s method and two different method with time moving concomitant variables. Determinant coefficients and a mean determinant coefficient are taken as a measure of fit.
