Summary:
In the DUS trials (Distinctness, Uniformity and Stability) the randomized complete block designs with two or three replicates are used as an experimental designs. However, if the number of compared varieties is large, these designs not always are effective. In this paper, the method designating the most effective randomised incompleted block design is presented. For this purpose the post-blocking method is used, in which the results of the previous trials done in randomised completed block designs are utilized.
