Summary:
Some methodology of an optimal design of experiments for comparisons of the pairs of treatment effects from two distinguish groups: test treatments and control treatments is presented. With respect to the given problem a special attention is paid to planning of Aoptimal designs and MV-optimal designs. The considerations are reduced to three types of the designs, i.e. completely randomized designs, incomplete block designs and row-column designs.
