Title:
BIB designs with repeated blocks: some analysis on BIBD(12,44,11,3,2) with different structures

Summary:
In fields like agriculture and industry it is well known the importance of balanced incomplete block designs. Our work is on BIB designs with repeated blocks because they are optimal and play a very important role in experimental design. If there are less then b distinct blocks in a BIBD(v,b,r,k,λ), then the design has repeated blocks and it is denoted as BIBDR. The set of distinct blocks in BIBD is known as the support, with cardinality b*. Obviously if b*<b, we have a BIB design with repeated blocks, and we denote it BIBDR(v,b,r,k,λ|b*). This paper presents some of our general research on different structures to the same BIBDR(v,b,r,k,λ|b*), b*<b. We present the particular case of BIBD(12,44,11,3,2).
