Title:
BIBDR: some analysis on BIBD(9,24,8,3,2) cardinalities
Language:
English
Keywords:
experimental design
BIBD
BIBD with repeated blocks
Summary:
The importance of Experimental Design is well known in several fields, like Agriculture, Industry and Genetics. Balanced incomplete Block designs with repeated blocks besides being optimal, play an important role in this area. The support of BIBD is the set of its distinct blocks and b* represents the cardinality of the support. So, if b*<b we have a BIB design with repeated blocks, denoted by BIBDR(v,b,r,k,λ|b*). This paper contains some research on different cardinalities to the same BIBDR(v,b,r,k,λ|b*). The analysis of particular case BIBD(9,24,8,3,2) is presented.
