Title:
Some remarks on the precision of confidence interval for mean in normal populations
Language:
English
Keywords:

normal population
Summary:
The precision of confidence interval for the mean of normal variable defined as the ratio of the half of the length and the centre of CI is considered. The probability distribution of the precision is investigated for both σ known and unknown cases. It turns out that this distribution is very sensitive to small changes of population coefficient of variation.
