Summary:
The purpose of the paper is the verification of the use of approximate formulas for standard deviations of the estimators of heritability coefficients. The comparison between standard deviations calculated by approximate formulas and exact ones was made in the case of the twofold nested random model. It follows from the calculations that the approximate formulas are sufficiently accurate and the applications of the exact formulas is not necessary.
