Summary:
Nowadays we encounter very often with the problems of analyzing and describing various biological problems in biological and mainly in agricultural sciences, by which mathematical and statistical knowledge of their analysis and explanation is very important. The main areas of these methods are concentrated on knowledge as follows: basic mathematical ideas, theory of probability and mathematical statistics, multivariate statistical methods, basic problems of mathematical modelling, modelling and simulation of biological systems, models of growth and development of organisms and populations, models in genetics of populations, models in ecology and ethology, medicine and environmental sciences, synergetic modelling in biology and biological cybernetics. The outlined areas are basic in education of mathematical modelling in biology in natural faculties of our universities.
