Title:
Stochastic modeling in selected biological systems
Language:
English
Keywords:
population dynamics
stochastic differential equations
colored white noise
system identification
Summary:
The stochastic differential equation with colored white noise is used for the description of the dynamics of some selected biological communities. The deterministic models of single species population models are transformed to the stochastic models. The parametric identification of these models is done by the maximum likelihood method. The effectiveness of the estimation procedu-res is proved by Monte Carlo simulations as well as checked on the real data for Whooping Crane population.
