Title:
GGE biplot as a tool for graphical analysis of data from multi-environment genotype trials
Language:

Keywords:

principal components
genotype-environment interaction

Summary:
GGE biplot is a graphical presentation of genotypes and environments as points on a plane in such a way that through suitable geometric interpretation of scalar products many relations between GGE effects could be discovered (GGE effects are main genotype effects combined with genotype-environment interaction effects). The paper presents theoretical background (singular value decomposition) and ways of interpretation of GGE biplot. An example of data from multi-environment genotype trials serves as illustration of interpretation possibilities of GGE biplot.
