Summary:
The analysis of the regression equations for the height curve is presented in the paper. The accuracy of different equations has been studied basing on empirical material composed of 1050 pine trees from three experimental clear-cutting areas. The relationship between height and d.b.h. was fitted to seven selected equations: linear, quadratic, hyperbolic, log-linear, Näslund’s function, log-quadratic, Törnquist’s function.
