Summary:
In this paper optimality and efficiency of cyclic desins under an interference model with leftneighbor effects are considered. It is shown, that cyclic designs, which are universally optimal under the model without neighbor effects can be universally optimal under the interference model with model with left-neighbor effects. The aim of the paper is to show, that for design parameters, for which universally optimal design cannot exist, there exists highly efficient cyclic design as well as cyclic design with zero information matrix.
