Summary:
Aim of statistical survey is getting information on substantial population and preparation of numerical description. In many cases research of whole population is impossible because of many reasons. Statistical survey which explore instead of entirely population only selected sample is named sample survey. Sample survey method is widely used in agricultural survey practice. Using the sample survey method we make shorter time of elaboration and reduce survey cost the preparation of achievement.
Sample survey is used when changes in population structure take place very quickly but elaboration of full documentation is very labour – consuming. There are also circumstances when conducting full survey is very difficult in practice, for example because of technical, organizational, or financial considerations. There are some situations happen when sample survey can give better results than full survey. It can happen when survey demands special staff skill for example with agricultural knowledge to conduct.
