Title:
Optimal location of observations in a certain linear regression model
Language:
Polish
Keywords:
maximum likelihood estimators
prediction
allocation of measurements
Summary:
The statistical model in which increasing of a variable is linear in time is considered. The variable is assumed to depend on two normal variables describing the initial value and the speed of changing. The situation when measurements can be done only in two time moments is taken under consideration. The influence of way of making measurements on estimation of model parameters and on interval prediction is shown.
