Summary:
The paper deals with split-plot types of experiments in which the levels of the first factor (say, A) are distributed in rectangular block designs (RT), and the levels of the second factors (say, B) are distributed in balanced incomplete block designs (BIB). The efficiency of the designs for the contrasts connected with main effects of the factors and their interaction effects in the block stratum, whole plots stratum and subplots stratum are given. Catalogue of these designs for 4≤r, k≤10 is included, where r is the number of treatment combinations and k is block size.
