Summary:
The aim of the paper is to propose a new method of designing experiments with groups of varieties and analysing data. In the paper application of incomplete block designs and particularly resolvable block designs is proposed for such experiments. The method is illustrated with use of the results of winter rape’s trial in which two groups of varieties appeared. New method is a generalisation of incompleted block method for the situation when treatments split into several nonoverlapping subgroups.
