Summary:
The paper deals with some methods of construction of supplemented X-1 – balanced block designs with unequal block sizes and unequal replication numbers. A connected block designs is X-1 – balanced if and only if its information matrix C is of the form C=λ(X-X11’X/1’X1), where X is an arbitrary positive definite symmetric matrix.
