Summary:
The history of the Department of Mathematical Statistics today named the Department of Applied Mathematics Faculty of Agricultural Engineering during the period 1952-2002 is presented. The Heads of the Departments were professors: founder Wiktor Oktaba (1952- 1990), Tadeusz Przybysz (1990-2000) and Mirosława Wesołowska-Janczarek (since 2000).
