Summary:
Planning experiments in block designs to ensure full efficiency of some important contrasts for relative potency of two preparation in parallel-line assays is considered. The block designs with two groups of objects, where one group of objects contains doses of the standard preparation and the second group of objects-the doses of the test preparation are considered. Using the spectral decomposition of the matrix connected with an experimental plan, the conditions for full efficiency of bioassay contrasts are presented.
