Summary:
The paper presents a mixed design of split-plot and split-block designs for at least three factor experiments. An orthogonal split-block design (for two factors) is the starting point of the construction method. Furthermore plots formed at the crosses of rows and columns are divided into subplots. Their number is equal at most the number of the third factor levels. The construction method of the considered design is based on an orthogonal block design and balanced or partially balanced incomplete block designs. Statistical properties of the proposed design are examined under a mixed linear model strictly connected with randomizations of units in an experiment.
