The last 5 conferences, international, were organized by the Polish Biometric Society under the name (“Międzynarodowe) Colloquium Biometryczne” (The International Biometrical Colloquium).
The aim of these conferences is to promote the new achievements in mathematical statistics and biometry with special references to applications in the agricultural, biological, medical and technical sciences.
Papers of the meetings have been published every year in the proceedings. They include more than 270 papers (together more than 11000 pages). Usually in the conferences about 100 participants from Poland and lately also from abroad (Europe, Asia, Africa and America) attend.
