Summary:
In this paper, three efficiency coefficients were determined for line x tester experiments established in group divisible designs. These coefficients take into consideration:
i) all general combining ability (GCA) and specific combining ability (SCA),
ii) GCA effects for lines only and SCA effects,
iii) GCA effects for lines and for tester only.
In the example the above efficiency coefficients were determined for 14 group divisible (GD) designs in case of 5 lines 3 tester.
