Summary:
In this paper has been presented method of calculation of family selection index of Silver fir for seven different plots in Poland. The experimental plots with Silver fir were described as comparative plots of the All_Poland Provenance Test Jd 86/90. The values of family selection index of Silver fir were calculated from variance components of random model of single classification. Two values: hight and survival of trees were analysed.
