Summary:
The paper deals with the comparison of populations based on a few sources of information. Parameters of random variables (their functions) or distributions of random variables (their functions) constitute the sources of information. Finally, an information coming from different sources of information is combined in order to compare populations. In the paper we adapt the combined test to compare the populations with respect to mixture of continuous and discrete random variables. Especially, we pay attention to the combined test that utilizes dependent sources of information. The theoretical considerations are illustrated with an example.
