Summary:
To investigate the estimator of heritability coefficient in a broad sense the formula for moments of a ratio of two dependent quadratic forms was derived. The mixed model for bi-parental crossing was considered. The resulting formula for moments is expressed by some definite integrals of some functions of variances components, block means, degrees of freedom and numbers of blocks, families and individuals.
