Summary:
In our work we intend to use the C-property and the dual design properties to estimate the variance between the elementary block contrasts and we analyse the variance of difference of block effects. The balanced incomplete block design and the balanced incomplete block design with repeated blocks, which have the same parameters, are compared on the basis on distinct blocks and the multiplicity of variance of elementary contrasts of the block effect. In the present paper we research the general case of differences between block effects and compare those differences considering the design without repeated blocks and with one repeated block.
