Summary:
Tables of coefficients and critical values for Shapiro–Wilk test of normality, calculated according to approximation given by Royston (1992), for n=4(1)58 and significance levels α=0.01, 0.02, 0.05, 0.1 are enclosed. It is shown that original tables by Shapiro and Wilk in 1965 give type I error a little beyond the nominal significance level.
